STIHL HTA 30 Cordless Pole Pruner Kit

The STIHL HTA 30 is a compact and lightweight cordless pole pruner, ideal for pruning high branches, removing dead wood and maintaining trees or tall hedges all from ground level. As the first pole pruner in STIHL’s AS System, it uses interchangeable AS 2 lithium-ion batteries that are compatible with other AS System tools, including hedge trimmers, leaf blowers, grass trimmers and garden pruners. The tool-free telescopic shaft extends up to 280 cm, giving you excellent reach for taller trees and shrubs. Weighing just 3.6 kg, the HTA 30 is easy to manoeuvre, while the soft-grip rubberised handle provides secure control and reduced vibration. It runs quietly too, so hearing protection isn’t required. Fitted with a 20cm / 8″ STIHL Light 01 guide bar and 1/4″ PM3 saw chain, the HTA 30 delivers clean, accurate cuts on branches up to 17 cm in diameter. The compact cutting head offers great visibility and makes working in tight spaces easier. Tool-free chain tensioning is fast and simple thanks to the spring-loaded sprocket cover — just fold out the handle and turn to set the correct tension. Chain oil is applied directly to the chain for straightforward maintenance. For transport and storage, the shaft shortens from 280 cm to 190 cm, making it easy to store in a shed or garage. An LED battery indicator shows remaining charge at a glance, helping you plan your work. With two AS 2 batteries, you’ll get up to 28 minutes of runtime or around 140 cuts, while STIHL’s CONSTANT POWER technology ensures consistent cutting performance right until the battery is empty.
