The Cobra S40C petrol scarifier is a 2-in-1 machine that is versatile and easy to use. It has an interchangeable blade system which comprises of either a 17 blade cartridge for aerating or 16 sprung claws that help you easily scarify the lawn. The Cobra S40C petrol lawn scarifier is powered by a 212cc cobra engine that is suitable for working in areas upto 600m2. It has a full 16″ / 40cm working width and the working depth can be adjusted using a dial to suit your needs, this ranges from -15mm – 5mm. When you are finished, simply empty the 45 litre debris catcher, this is very helpful as it means you won’t have to rake up when you are finished. The interchangeable system on the Cobra S40C gives you the choice of either inserting the bladed cassette for aerating or the sprung claw for scarifying. The spring tine cassette is fitted with 16 tines with angled tips for more effective raking of thatch and dead grass. The cassette has 17 rigid steel blades that will remove moss, thatch and flat-growing weeds. It’s very easy to switch the cassettes over, simply remove four nuts and bolts and the cartridge slides out ready for the other one to slide back in, tighten up the nuts and bolts and away you go. It also benefits from “transport mode” which is particularly useful when moving from one area to another, simply push the lever located on the handlebars and the entire machine will raise off the ground, to reset simply push it back forward. Additionally, the handle bars have a comfortable grip for more comfortable working conditions.
