Ford 9″ Housing and Axle Package | 1967-1969 Camaro / Firebird and 1968-1974 Nova with Ridetech 4-Link

Ridetech 9-Inch Rear Axle Housings: Installing a Ridetech Bolt-On 4-Link into your 1967-1969 Camaro/Firebird or 1968-1974 Nova has never been easier with the help of our Ridetech 9” Rear Axle Housings. Designed to work with newer style Ridetech 4 Link (upper bars are angled toward the center of the vehicle) kits, the 4-Link and sway bar brackets are already welded to the housing making the upgrade and install completely bolt-in! The 9” Ford housings are a great foundation for putting torque to the pavement. The housings feature a webbed center section with internal gussets with 1/4″ wall 3” diameter tubes and billet steel flanges (New Style Big Bearing/Torino). The pinion is offset ½” and the axle flange is offset 2 ½”. Available in a stock axle flange to axle flange width of 60.25″ or narrowed to 54.75″ to satisfy mini-tubbed applications. These housings include both a drain plug and jack pad and Grade 8 T-bolt hardware for sufficient strength where you need it. 3rd member studs are pre-installed and ready to accept a third member. Ridetech is offering their housings in both black power-coat and raw for vehicles that are in varied stages of completion to fit customer needs. The included 31-spline axles are heat treated from 1541H Alloy and feature 5” x 4 ¾” bolt pattern and Grade 8 1/2”-20 x 2” wheel studs. Timken SET20 bearings are pressed onto the axles which also include the bearing retaining plates. All 3rd Members feature a Yukon nodular iron case, aluminum Daytona pinion support, 1350 billet steel yoke, Timken bearings and Eaton Trutrac differential unit. The Trutrac is a helical-gear style limited-slip differential that maximizes wheel traction and enhances driving characteristics. Available with 3.50, 3.70, 3.89 or 4.11 ratio. The included LubeLocker gaskets prevents leaking without the use of silicon and is reusable.
